The 14th Dalai Lama Tenzin Gyatso is one of the most influential Buddhist leaders in Tibetan Buddhism. He is the 1989 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate.
An advocate for a world free of nuclear weapons, he is currently serving on the Advisory Council of the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation.
The Dalai Lama Center for Peace and Education in Vancouver was endorsed by the Dalai Lama to advance social and emotional development of children.
